QUICK ANSWER

What is Supercar Rush?

Supercar Rush is a first-person arcade racing game in the browser: you drive a supercar from the cockpit along a 6.4 km sunset coastal highway and try to cross the finish line ahead of 5 AI rivals. Passing traffic within about a metre without touching it adds 15% to the nitro bar, and from the 70% mark the rivals speed up and fire their own nitro. A race takes about two minutes on a keyboard or touch pedals, and the coins you win upgrade speed, acceleration, handling and nitro in the garage.

How do you play Supercar Rush?

You start 6th on the grid. After 3-2-1-GO, race 6.4 km and cross the FINISH line before the 5 rivals. Hold W or ↑ to accelerate, S or ↓ to brake, A/D or the arrows to steer, and hold Space for nitro (+55 km/h). Bends push you outward the faster you go, so ease off before the yellow chevron boards. Hitting traffic or cones costs speed; a shield pickup cancels one crash. Near misses, nitro bottles and overtakes refill nitro. After 70% the rivals push harder. Place, coins, near misses and overtakes add up to your prize.

Tips & strategy

  1. Keep half a nitro bar for the last 450 m straight to the flag: rivals with nitro left fire it there too.
  2. Before the sharpest bends with yellow chevrons, brake to about 220 km/h; rubbing the barrier costs far more speed.
  3. For +15% nitro, pass cars less than a metre apart without touching, and only above 110 km/h.
  4. On the grid, tap the gas so the rev needle sits in the green zone (5,200–6,900 rpm) at GO for a Perfect Start.
  5. Spend your first coins on Handling: each level adds 8% steering and grip, so you carry more speed through bends.
  6. Three roadworks zones cone off a lane for 80 m; change lanes early, as every cone you hit costs 7% speed.

Supercar Rush FAQ

How do you fill the nitro bar in Supercar Rush?

Pass other cars closely without touching them. A near miss within about 0.85 m at over 110 km/h adds 15%, each of the 9 nitro bottles on the road adds 35%, and every rival you overtake adds 4%. You start with 40%, and the bar needs at least 10% to light up.

How much faster does nitro make the supercar?

Nitro raises the top speed by 55 km/h and adds a strong push, taking the stock car from 262 to about 317 km/h. A full bar lasts about 4.5 seconds. Each Nitro upgrade adds another 6 km/h and makes it burn 8% slower, and pressing the brake cuts the boost.

Why does the car slide wide in the bends in Supercar Rush?

Bends push the car outward with the square of your speed. The sharpest bends, marked with yellow chevron boards, can't be held flat out in the stock car, so lift or brake to about 220 km/h first. Rubbing the barrier or running on the shoulder, where speed is capped at 150 km/h, loses much more time.

What happens when you crash into traffic in Supercar Rush?

You lose speed but the race goes on. Running into the back of a car drops you to just under its speed, and a side swipe costs about 7%. A shield pickup, two per race, absorbs the next crash completely, while each roadworks cone you hit costs 7% speed.

What changes after the 70% mark of the race?

The FINAL PUSH begins: the five rivals drive about 4% faster, fire nitro on the straights and may move across to block you when you sit right behind them. The music speeds up too, and in the last kilometre the screen counts down the metres to the flag.

What do the coins buy in the Supercar Rush garage?

Coins upgrade four stats up to level 5, at 300 to 2,200 coins a level: Speed (+8 km/h), Acceleration (+7%), Handling (+8% grip) and Nitro. They also unlock 4 extra paint colours and 4 interior trim colours. The prize runs from 800 coins for 1st to 150 for 6th, plus 10 for each coin picked up on the road. Each level bought also makes the rivals about 0.9 km/h quicker, so races stay close.

How do you get a perfect start in Supercar Rush?

Have the rev needle in the green zone, 5,200 to 6,900 rpm, at the moment GO appears. The car then leaves the line at 55 km/h with a 1.2-second nitro-strength push. Holding the gas through the whole countdown hits the red, and the rear wheels spin for 1.1 seconds with only 40% of the grip, so tap the pedal instead.

Can you race without camera shake and motion effects?

Yes. The gear button in the top corner opens Settings, where you can turn off camera shake and speed effects such as speed lines, lens warp and sun glare. Music can be turned off on its own, there or with the music key on the dashboard screen, and Graphics on Low shortens the draw distance and hides the rear-view mirror for slower devices.
