What is Ramp Rivals?
Ramp Rivals is a 3D stunt racing game for the browser in which you hold to accelerate and drag to steer, racing five AI rivals from the back of the grid to the finish line. Each of the 24 sprint races lasts about 30 to 50 seconds and crosses one of four worlds (a giant playroom, a neon grid city, a sky circuit with open edges and a candy canyon) full of jumps, loops, boost pads, swinging hammers, spiked rollers, pop-up bollards and slippery icing. A top 3 finish opens the next race, and prize coins pay for upgrades and three more cars.

How do you play Ramp Rivals?
Hold anywhere on the race view (or ↑/W) to accelerate and drag left or right (or ←→, A/D) to steer; let go to coast and press ↓ or S to brake. You start last of six cars after a 3-second countdown. Tap NITRO (Space) to burn a full cell for 2 seconds of extra speed; airtime, drifts, perfect landings and blue canisters refill the three cells. Hammers, rollers, sweepers and bollards spin you out and cost most of your speed, and a missed jump puts you back past the gap a second later. Finish top 3 to open the next race.
Tips & strategy
- Keep the throttle down through loops: below about 55 km/h at the top the car drops out and loses time.
- Nitro and boost pads do not stack: burn nitro after the pad's 1.2-second push has ended.
- Hammers swing across the whole road: aim for the side the head has just left, not the middle.
- Land within about 13° of the road after half a second in the air for a perfect landing and a third of a nitro cell.
- On Cloud Circuit keep off the open edges in side wind: gusts push the car sideways up to 6 m/s².
- Every coin on the road adds 5 to your prize, so a line of six is worth 30 coins.

Ramp Rivals FAQ
How do I steer in Ramp Rivals on a phone?
Hold a finger anywhere on the race view to accelerate and slide it left or right to steer; lifting the finger lets the car coast. The steering point follows your finger, so a short slide back straightens the wheels. A second finger can tap the NITRO button at the bottom right while the first keeps driving.
What happens when I hit a hammer or a roller in Ramp Rivals?
The car spins for 0.8 seconds and keeps only part of its speed: 35% for the Comet, 50% for the Dune Hopper, 33% for the Viper GT and 26% for the Falcon F. For the next 1.4 seconds it blinks and cannot be hit again, which gives you time to get back up to speed.
How does nitro work in Ramp Rivals?
You hold up to three nitro cells and start every race with one. Tapping NITRO burns a full cell for 2 seconds, raising top speed by 30% and adding a strong push. Cells refill while the car is in the air, while it drifts, by about a third with a perfect landing and by one whole cell from each blue canister.
Why did my car fall off the track in Ramp Rivals?
Cloud Circuit and several later races have roads without walls, and every jump has a gap. If the car leaves the road or comes up short of a landing, it is put back on the road past the gap about a second later at 47 km/h. Being too slow at the top of a loop has the same result.
How do I unlock the other cars in Ramp Rivals?
Cars need both stars and coins: the Dune Hopper needs 15 stars and 1,800 coins, the Viper GT 32 stars and 3,600 coins, and the Falcon F 50 stars and 6,500 coins. Stars come from your best place in each race (3 for 1st, 2 for 2nd, 1 for 3rd), so replaying earlier races for 1st place earns both.
Which car is best in Ramp Rivals?
Each car trades something away. The Falcon F has the highest top speed and grip but keeps only 26% of its speed after a crash; the Dune Hopper steers best in the air and keeps half its speed; the Viper GT is quick on straights but slides more in bends. Five speed upgrades add 27 km/h to any car.
Do the rivals in Ramp Rivals cheat to catch up?
Only slightly: a rival more than 70 m ahead of you loses up to 4% of its top speed and one more than 90 m behind gains up to 4%. Otherwise rivals use the same car physics as you, crash into the same hazards, fall off the same edges and refill nitro the same way.
