QUICK ANSWER

What is Prism Pour?

Prism Pour is a water sort puzzle for the browser, set in a sea-glass studio, in which you tip colored liquid from flask to flask until every flask is filled with a single color. Its 100 levels come in five chapters of 20, each adding a color (3 colors in 5 flasks up to 7 in 9) and its own flask shape, and three stars go to players who match the fewest pours possible, 3 to 24 per level. All levels are open from the start, a new 6-color Daily Pour arrives each day, and there is no timer, so a puzzle fits a short calm break.

How do you play Prism Pour?

Tap or click a flask with liquid, then the flask you want to pour into. Liquid only goes into an empty flask or onto the same color, and all matching portions on top move together in one pour if there is room; whatever does not fit stays behind. Each flask holds 4 portions and every level starts with two empty flasks. The level is solved when each flask is empty or full of one color. Matching the level's minimum earns 3 stars, and up to 3 extra pours earns 2. There is no timer or fail screen: Undo, Hint and Restart are free.

Tips & strategy

  1. Pour a whole stack at once: two or three matching portions on top count as one pour on the way to 3 stars.
  2. Save at least one of the two empty flasks for as long as you can; once both hold liquid, every pour needs a matching top color.
  3. Chasing 3 stars? Check the minimum on the win screen, then replay: 2 stars allow only 3 extra pours, so restart as soon as you waste more.
  4. Hourglass and diamond flasks only look different: each still holds exactly 4 portions, so count color bands, not glass width.
  5. Turn on Color symbols in Settings when two shades blur together, such as teal and blue on a dim screen: each color gets its own shape.

Prism Pour FAQ

What is the Daily Pour in Prism Pour?

The Daily Pour is one extra puzzle per day, the same for every player on that date: 6 colors in 8 flasks that mix all five flask shapes. Its minimum is always between 17 and 20 pours, so it plays like a late-chapter level. A new one arrives at midnight in your time zone, and the game keeps your best result for the day and counts the days you have solved.

How do you get three stars in Prism Pour?

Solve the level in its minimum number of pours, which a complete computer search found for every level: 3 pours on level 1, 24 on level 100. Up to 3 pours over the minimum earns 2 stars, and anything more earns 1. The win screen shows both marks, and the level list counts your best stars out of 300.

Why do the flasks change shape in Prism Pour?

Each chapter has its own flask: tall in Shallows, round in Lagoon, hourglass in Coral Reef, diamond in Tide Pools and wide in Deep Blue, and the Daily Pour mixes all five. The shape is only decoration. Every flask holds exactly 4 portions, and a narrow waist or pointed base holds the same amount as a straight flask.

Do you have to unlock levels in Prism Pour?

No. All 100 levels are open from the first visit, so you can jump straight to the 7-color Deep Blue chapter from the level list. Levels are grouped by color count, 20 per chapter, and the list shows the stars you have earned on each one. Your progress and the level you are in the middle of are saved automatically.

What do the color symbols in Prism Pour do?

Color symbols is a switch in Settings that draws a shape on every portion: a heart on pink, a circle on orange, a triangle on yellow, a leaf on green, a drop on teal, a moon on blue and a star on purple. With it on, you can sort by shape alone, which helps colorblind players and dim screens. It starts switched off, and the game remembers your choice.

What does Hint show in Prism Pour?

Hint names one pour, such as flask 2 into flask 5, and lights the source flask amber and the target cyan. It follows a shortest route from your current board, so a player who only follows hints finishes in the minimum and earns 3 stars. Hint is free and unlimited, and if the board can no longer be solved it says so and suggests Undo or Restart.
