How do you play Whisker Tray?
Tap or click a shelf to move its front treat into the tray below. As soon as three treats of the same kind are in the tray, they are served and leave together. Empty every shelf and the tray to clear the level. The tray holds 7 treats: if it fills with treats that do not form a trio, the level is lost, and Undo or Restart lets you try again. Every treat behind the front one is visible, so you can plan ahead. Levels grow from 3 shelves to 7 and from 3 kinds of treats to 10.
Tips & strategy
- Whenever a shelf front would complete a trio, take it right away: it sends three treats out of the tray at once.
- Never hold three pairs plus a single: that is 7 treats, and a 7-slot tray is then full.
- Look one treat deeper: a shelf whose second treat matches a pair in the tray gives you a trio in two taps.
- From level 31 some treats come in sixes; they are served as two separate trios, so count them three at a time.
- On the 6-slot trays of levels 90–100, keep at most two kinds waiting in the tray before you start a third.
- Restart sets your Undo and Hint count back to zero, so a clean replay can still earn 3 stars.

What happens when the tray is full in Whisker Tray?
The level is lost as soon as the tray holds 7 treats that do not form a trio (6 on the small trays of levels 90–100). The board stops and the cat looks worried. Undo takes back the move that filled the tray, or Restart puts every treat back on its shelf.
Does the third matching treat fit when the Whisker Tray tray has one free slot?
Yes. A trio is served before the game checks whether the tray is full, so the third mochi, cookie or tea always fits and the tray drops from 6 treats to 4. That is why a tray holding 6 treats is still safe when a shelf front completes one of its pairs.
How do I get 3 stars on a Whisker Tray level?
Clear the level without pressing Undo or Hint. Up to 3 uses of Undo and Hint together still give 2 stars, and more give 1 star. Restart sets the count back to zero, and the level map adds up your best result on every level out of 300 stars.
Why does Whisker Tray say the tray can no longer be cleared?
After each move the game checks every possible order of the remaining taps. When none of them can empty the shelves and the tray, it says so right away and the Undo button glows, so you do not keep playing a board that is already lost. Undo one move at a time until the message goes away.
Can I see the treats behind the front one in Whisker Tray?
Yes. Every shelf shows all of its treats, with the front one drawn larger at the bottom. Only the front treat can be taken, but the ones behind tell you what each tap will uncover, which is the key to planning trios.

Boards grow from 9 treats on 3 shelves to 36 treats on 7 shelves. From level 31 some treats come in sixes and are served as two trios, from level 89 all 10 treats appear, and the even levels from 90 to 100 shrink the tray to 6 slots.
How does Hint pick a shelf in Whisker Tray?
Hint lights up one shelf with a bouncing paw and names the treat to take. Every level ships with a tested route that clears it, and once you leave that route the game searches all remaining moves for a new one. Hints are free and unlimited, but each one counts toward the star rating like an Undo.
