What is Glowdrop Lab?
Glowdrop Lab is a water sort puzzle game in your browser where you pour glowing liquid between glasses until every glass holds a single color. Each glass fits 4 layers, and all matching layers on top pour together when they fit. The 36 puzzles grow from 2 colors in 4 glasses to 7 colors in 9 glasses, with no timer and free Undo and Hint, so it suits calm short breaks and young players alike.

How do you play Glowdrop Lab?
Tap or click a glass with liquid, then the glass you want to pour into. You can only pour into an empty glass or onto the same color, and every matching layer on top moves at once if there is room. Each glass holds 4 layers. A puzzle is solved when every glass is either empty or full of one color. Each pour counts as one move. There is no timer and no way to lose: if no pours are left, use Undo or Restart. Puzzles start with 2 colors and add one every five levels from level 6, up to 7 colors in 9 glasses from level 26.
Tips & strategy
- Keep an empty glass free as long as you can: it is the only place any color can go.
- Pour whole stacks: 3 matching layers move for the same single move as 1, and reveal the color beneath.
- Finish one color early: a full single-color glass is done and can never block you again.
- Count free space before you pour: only the layers that fit move, and the rest stay on top of the source.
- For 3 stars, stay at or under the move target on the win screen; up to 5 extra moves still earn 2.

Glowdrop Lab FAQ
Why can't I pour into a glass in Glowdrop Lab?
A glass only takes liquid when it has free space and is empty or shows the same top color as the glass you picked. A glass already full of one color is finished, so it can neither take nor give liquid. Tapping another glass that still has mixed colors simply makes it your new pick.
How are moves counted in Glowdrop Lab?
Every pour is one move, however many layers flow. Pouring three matching layers at once costs the same single move as pouring one, so moving whole stacks keeps the count low. Undo takes the move back off the counter, and Restart sets it to 0.
How do you get 3 stars in Glowdrop Lab?
Solve the puzzle in no more moves than the level's target, which the win screen shows. Finishing up to 5 moves over the target earns 2 stars, and any finish earns at least 1. Targets come from a checked solution for each board, from 3 moves on level 1 to 18 on the longest puzzles.
What does the Hint button do in Glowdrop Lab?
Hint lights up two glasses and names the pour, for example glass 2 into glass 4. It reads your current board, so it helps after any number of moves, and it is free with no limit. If the board can no longer be solved, Hint says so, and Undo or Restart puts you back on track.
Can you get stuck in Glowdrop Lab?
Yes, a board can run out of legal pours, but you never lose a puzzle. The game tells you when no pours are left and makes Undo glow, so you can step back as many pours as you need or restart the level from its first layout.
How many colors and glasses are in Glowdrop Lab puzzles?
Each puzzle has 2 to 7 colors and always two more glasses than colors. Levels 1–5 use 2 colors in 4 glasses, a new color joins every five levels, and levels 26–36 use all 7 colors in 9 glasses. Every color also carries its own symbol, such as a circle, triangle or star, so colors are easy to tell apart.
What happens after level 36 in Glowdrop Lab?
Level 36, the last puzzle of the Moonlit Lab collection, ends the game. From the level list you can replay any of the 36 puzzles to improve your stars; the list shows your best stars for each level and your total out of 108.
