What is Ricochet Rascals?
Ricochet Rascals is a 3D tank game for the browser in which you drive a toy tank and bounce plasma bolts off maze walls to knock out robot tanks. Each bolt bounces 2 to 6 times depending on the arena, and one hit knocks out any tank, yours too if your own bolt comes back. Levels last 65 to 110 seconds across 30 arenas, with a first-to-3 Quick Duel against one bot and a first-to-5 match for 2 players on one keyboard.

How do you play Ricochet Rascals?
Drive with WASD or the arrow keys, aim with the mouse and fire with a click or Space. Every bolt flies straight and bounces off walls a set number of times, so you can hit a bot hiding around a corner. You can have 3 bolts in the air at once, and a single hit knocks out any tank, yours included, so keep moving after each shot. Knock out every bot before the clock runs out. Later chapters add shutters that close on a timer, round bumpers, portals, sliding walls and cracked walls that break after 2 hits.
Tips & strategy
- Aim at the wall beside a bot instead of the bot itself: a bank-shot knockout adds 100 points, and you need one for 3 stars.
- Never fire into a wall right in front of you; after each shot, step sideways so the rebound misses the spot you fired from.
- Finish with at least 40% of the clock left: every whole second left adds 10 points, and below 30% you only get 1 star.
- Wait for a clean line instead of spraying: hitting with at least 30% of your shots (3 shots or more) earns a 200-point accuracy bonus.
- When a shutter lamp blinks amber, the block rises 0.6 seconds later and stops bolts for 1.5 seconds; shoot through the gap before it closes.
- Against the gold Champion in level 30, spend your first bolt on its one-hit shield, then finish it before it banks a shot back.

Ricochet Rascals FAQ
How do bank shots work in Ricochet Rascals?
Aim at a wall and the bolt bounces off it at the same angle it hit. Each arena sets how many bounces a bolt gets, from 2 in the first levels to 6 in the last chapter, and the bolt dissolves at the next wall after its final bounce. Levels 1 to 3 draw a dashed guide line showing the path.
Can your own bolt knock you out in Ricochet Rascals?
Yes. After a short arming moment of 0.18 seconds, your bolt can hit your own tank, and one hit ends the level unless you carry a shield. The result screen then says "Hit by your own bolt". Keep moving after each shot and avoid firing into a wall right in front of you.
How much time must be left for 3 stars in Ricochet Rascals?
Clear the level with at least 40% of the time left and knock out at least one bot with a bolt that bounced first. Clearing with 30% of the time left gives 2 stars, and any clear gives 1. The next level opens on the first clear, so you can come back for stars later.
What do the pickups do in Ricochet Rascals?
The blue Shield blocks one hit for 18 seconds, amber Rubber adds 2 bounces for 12 seconds, violet Scatter fires 3 bolts in a fan for 10 seconds and green Speed makes you 30% faster for 8 seconds. Pulse lets you press PULSE once to turn back enemy bolts close to you. Only your tank collects pickups.
How do you beat the Champion in Ricochet Rascals level 30?
The gold Champion fights beside two ace bots, aims within 3 degrees and banks shots off two walls, and it carries a shield that absorbs one hit. Break the shield with one bolt, then hit it again before it repositions. Taking out the two aces first leaves fewer bolts to dodge in the 110-second limit.
Which keys do two players use in Ricochet Rascals?
2 Players mode shares one keyboard. Player 1 drives with WASD, fires with F and pulses with G; player 2 uses the arrows, Enter and Right Shift. Each turret points where its tank last drove, and the first to win 5 rounds takes the match. The mode needs a physical keyboard, so it is locked on touch-only phones.
What do shutters, portals and moving walls do in Ricochet Rascals?
Shutters rise from the floor every 4 seconds, 0.6 seconds after their amber lamp blinks, and block bolts and tanks while closed. A bolt or tank entering the cyan portal leaves the violet one moving the same way. Moving walls slide along an amber rail after 0.8 seconds of blinking and wait rather than crush a tank.
How many points is a bank-shot knockout worth in Ricochet Rascals?
A bank-shot knockout is worth 1,100 points: 1,000 for the knockout plus 100 because the bolt bounced first. Clearing the level adds 500, then 10 points for every whole second left, and 200 more if at least 30% of your shots hit with 3 or more fired. Your best score for each level is kept on the level map.
