What is Dune Deal?
Dune Deal is a tri-peaks solitaire card game in the browser where you clear up to 28 cards from three peaks on the dunes by playing them one rank above or below the pile card, with King and Ace joined. Six plays in a row earn a sun card that any card can follow, and from level 17 padlocks hold cards until three cards of their suit reach the pile. All 30 deals ship with a proven winning run, and one tap per move makes it easy to play in short breaks.

How do you play Dune Deal?
Clear every card from the dunes. Only face-up cards can move: a card turns face up when nothing in the row below overlaps it. Tap a face-up card one rank above or below the card on the pile and it becomes the new pile card; King and Ace join, so a run can go Q, K, A, 2. When nothing fits, tap the stock to turn over a new card, which ends your run. From level 9, six plays in a row earn a sun card. From level 17, padlocks wait for three cards of their suit. With no play, no stock and no sun card, the level is lost.
Tips & strategy
- Before you draw, scan every face-up card: a 7 on the pile accepts both a 6 and an 8, so check both ranks.
- When two cards fit, play the one that turns another card face up; a long run later beats a short one now.
- Plan a zig-zag like 5, 6, 5, 4: going up and down on the same pair of ranks clears cards from several peaks.
- Keep a sun card for the moment nothing fits: it saves a draw, and every undrawn stock card counts for the third star.
- On locked levels, count the suit on each padlock: drawing a card of that suit also counts down the lock.

Dune Deal FAQ
Which cards can I play on the pile in Dune Deal?
Any face-up card exactly one rank above or below the pile card, whatever its suit. King and Ace count as neighbours, so after a King you may play an Ace or a Queen. A card still overlapped by the row below stays face down and cannot move.
How do you earn a sun card in Dune Deal?
Play six cards in a row without touching the stock, from level 9 onwards. Six dots under the sun button fill as the run grows, and you can hold two sun cards at once. Placed on the pile, a sun card accepts any rank, which rescues a stuck position.
How do the padlocks in Dune Deal open?
Each padlock shows a suit and a number, starting at three. Every card of that suit that lands on the pile, played from the dunes or drawn from the stock, lowers the number by one. At zero the lock falls away and the card plays normally. Padlocks appear from level 17, two to six per level.
When is a Dune Deal level lost?
Only when three things run out together: no face-up card fits the pile, the stock is empty and you hold no sun card. A sheet then offers Undo, which takes back the last move, or Start over. Cards left face down do not matter as long as one of the three is still available.
How do I get three stars on a Dune Deal level?
Clear the dunes without pressing Undo and with at least the stock goal still undrawn. The goal is shown on the win sheet and runs from 0 cards on the first levels to 11 on the most generous deal. Every level was built from a run that meets its goal without any sun card.
Does drawing from the stock hurt in Dune Deal?
Each draw does two things: it resets your run toward the next sun card, and it spends a stock card you might need for the third star. Drawing is still the right move when no face-up card fits, but scan the dunes first and use a sun card if you hold one.
