What is Frosty Trio?
Frosty Trio is a goods-sorting puzzle game in your browser where you move fridge items between shelves until three of a kind stand together and pop. Each shelf shows a front row of 3 slots with more rows waiting behind, so clearing a row pulls the next one forward, and frosted items only thaw as trios pop. Levels take a minute or two, need only taps, and every fridge is proven solvable within its move limit.

How do you play Frosty Trio?
Clear every item from the fridge. Tap an item in a front row to pick it up, then tap a free slot on a different shelf to put it there; that is one move. When a front row holds three of the same item, they pop. An empty front row pulls the next row from behind forward, and that row can pop at once. If the move counter reaches 0 before the shelves are empty, the level is lost. Frosted items in the Freezer Drawer can't move until pops melt them, and party guests ask for one item: pop it within 6 moves to win 2 moves back.
Tips & strategy
- Build pairs on shelves with rows waiting behind: emptying them pulls new items forward and opens more choices.
- Keep at least one free slot open. With none left you can't move at all, and the keeper has to step in.
- Read the small icons above each shelf: they show the next row, so you can set up a trio before it arrives.
- With frosted items on the board, pop any easy trio first: each one melts a frost from every frosted item at once.
- When a guest arrives and you already hold a pair of their item, finish that trio first for the 2 bonus moves.
- On levels 15, 20, 25 and 30 you start with only 2 free slots, so don't fill the last one unless it makes a trio.

Frosty Trio FAQ
Why won't a frosted item in Frosty Trio move?
Frosted items stay put until they thaw. Every trio you pop anywhere in the fridge takes one frost off every frosted item, and the number on the ice shows how many pops are left. A frosted item still counts toward a trio where it sits, so you can also bring two matching items to its shelf.
What happens when a front row in Frosty Trio is empty?
The next row behind that shelf slides forward straight away. The small icons above each shelf show that next row, and a plus number shows how many more rows wait after it. If the row that slides forward is three of a kind, it pops at once without costing a move.
How do party guests work in Frosty Trio?
From level 21, a guest asks for one item and waits 6 moves. Pop a trio of that item in time and you get 2 extra moves. If the guest waits too long, they leave without any penalty, and the next guest walks in 3 moves later.
Can a Frosty Trio level get stuck with no way forward?
No. If no trio can be made any more, the keeper packs three of the most common item into a lunchbox for free and play goes on. You can still lose by running out of moves, but every level was checked by a solver that clears it within the limit without that free help.
What does it take to earn all 3 stars on a Frosty Trio fridge?
Finish the fridge in par moves or fewer; par is how many moves the built-in careful player needed, shown on the win sheet. Using up to half of the spare moves gives 2 stars, and any other win gives 1 star. Hints are free and never lower your stars.
Why do levels 15, 20, 25 and 30 of Frosty Trio feel harder?
Those fridges start with only 2 free slots instead of 3, so there is less room to shuffle items around. Plan each move so it builds a pair or empties a shelf, and avoid filling the last free slot unless it completes a trio.
How many moves does Frosty Trio give per level?
Level 1 allows 10 moves with a par of 4, and the last fridge allows 50 moves with a par of 44. The spare moves shrink as you go, from more than double par at the start to just 4 to 10 extra moves in the Party Platter chapter.
