What is Hearthlight Match?
Hearthlight Match is a Christmas match-three puzzle in which neighboring decorations trade places to form lines of three or more. Travel with Pippin the snowman along ten festive stops, from Lantern Lane to Christmas Eve. The 30 boards offer 24–30 moves each and ask for points, cleared ice or a particular decoration. Four in a line makes a ribbon rocket, while five makes a wish star you can save for a useful moment. There is no countdown, so inspect the board before making your next swap.

How do you play Hearthlight Match?
Read the target, then click or tap two neighboring decorations, or swipe one toward the other. A line of three clears and new pieces fall; cascades keep earning points within that move. Four creates a ribbon rocket that later clears its row or column. Five creates a wish star: swap it with a decoration to clear that kind. Meet the point, ice or collection target before your 24–30 moves run out. Win to open the next board and earn up to three stars; an invalid swap spends nothing.
Tips & strategy
- Before breaking ice, inspect the two lines crossing that square; frost stays put when decorations fall.
- Save a wish star until it touches the decoration required by the collection order.
- A rocket must be matched again to launch; its creation does not fire it immediately.
- Read the star allowance below the board before asking for a hint.

Hearthlight Match FAQ
Why do ribbon rockets wait on the Hearthlight Match board?
A four-match creates a stored piece rather than firing a blast immediately. Its decoration keeps the same matching kind, while the ribbon shows whether it will clear a row or column. Include that piece in another match, or swap it with another special, to launch the rocket. Falling pieces can carry it to a more useful lane.
What can I do with a wish star next to a bell in Hearthlight Match?
Exchange the star with the bell to remove every bell currently on the board. You do not need to line up three for that swap. The cleared spaces refill and may start further cascades, so consider both the decoration order and the columns that will move. Swapping two wish stars instead clears all 36 squares.
Where should I swap when ice blocks the Christmas trail in Hearthlight Match?
Make a match that includes a decoration resting on an icy square. Ice belongs to the square, so moving a decoration away without clearing it does not break that patch. A launched ribbon rocket can reach ice along its lane. On boards 11–20, the remaining ice counter matters more than a large score elsewhere.
Why can a long cascade miss the decoration order in Hearthlight Match?
Collection boards count only the kind pictured beside the target. A cascade earns points for all the pieces it removes, but unrelated shapes do not complete that order. Look for a line containing the requested decoration before chasing a general score burst. A wish star beside that kind can turn one swap into several collected pieces.
How do hints affect the 90-star Christmas route in Hearthlight Match?
Any hint limits the current attempt to two stars, even if you finish with many moves left. The suggested pair stays in place until you move it yourself, and requesting the hint does not spend a turn. For three stars, retry without hints and finish within the displayed allowance. Your best earlier star result is retained.
Which decorations appear, and what does Pippin do in Hearthlight Match?
The set contains a red bauble, golden bell, green present, candy cane, gingerbread person and snowflake. Each stop uses five kinds, with the visible selection rotating along the route. Pippin is the snowman beside the go2.fun board. He celebrates progress but never moves pieces for you or changes the move budget.
